Shipping Policy

We at Peaches Pastries’ feel that you have requested the perfect gift for your lucky recipient, and we want to ensure the best possible experience we can.

PACKAGING

Your gift is specially packaged to arrive in perfect condition. Cakes are wrapped and cushioned to fit snugly in the box, and are protected with cold packs year round to prevent overheating while in transit, and each nosegay is provided with its own water supply to keep it fresh during its overnight journey.

DESTINATIONS

Peaches Pastries’ delivers everywhere in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes or APO & FPO locations.

DELIVERY DATES

You will be asked to select a delivery date at the time the order is placed. Deliveries are available year round from Tuesday through Saturday, with some exceptions around holidays.

TRACKING YOUR PACKAGE

You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail and UPS Tracking Number for your package on the day that your gift leaves our facility. Go to the UPS website and enter the tracking number (or simply click on the link provided in the e-mail) to see where the package is on its journey to your recipient.

Just Cakes are shipped Second Day Air for delivery Wednesday through Friday.

UPS generally delivers to residential addresses Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and to business addresses during their normal business hours. During busy holiday times, deliveries may occur later than 7:00 p.m. Neither UPS nor Peaches Pastries’ cannot guarantee that the package will be delivered at a specific time of day.

INCORRECT ADDRESSES

When an incorrect address is provided, Peaches Pastries’ will work with the carrier to redirect the package to get your gift delivered in as timely a manner as possible. However, there is a $10 change of address fee imposed by the carrier that will be charged directly to you.

REQUIRING THE CARRIER TO OBTAIN A SIGNATURE AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY

At the time you place your order, you will be asked if the recipient’s address is a residence or a business.

For residences, you may choose to:

1) Require a Signature – This option requires the courier to obtain a signature for the package before it is left. If you require a signature and no one is home to accept the package, the courier may take it back to the warehouse causing a delay in your desired delivery date. There is an additional $2.50 charge for this service.

2) Release Signature – This option releases the signature requirement allowing the carrier to leave the package at the door if the courier deems the location to be safe and secure. They will not leave the package if it is an apartment without a front desk. Peaches Pastries’is not responsible for ensuring the recipients are home when the package is delivered. If you choose not to require a signature and the package is left at the premises, then neither the carrier nor Peaches Pastries’ is liable for what happens to the package once it is left.

For businesses:

Include as much information as possible for business deliveries (the company name, floor number, and suite or office number). Peaches Pastries’ requires that the carrier obtain a signature from the person who accepts the package.

LIABILITY

Once your package leaves our hands and is accepted by the carrier, Peaches Pastries’is no longer held liable for damages caused by delivery delays due to weather, carrier malfunctions and the like.

Peaches Pastries’ does not maintain liability for misdirected and/or delayed packages if incomplete or inaccurate address information was provided at the time the order was placed.

Peaches Pastries’ is not responsible for any damages or non-delivery of products if the intended recipient is not there to receive the package.

Peaches Pastries’ is not responsible for severe weather conditions, such as heat, cold, rain, wind, etc. at the delivery point.
